Horse Riding
We pride ourselves on our selection of well trained horses and ponies, experienced riding instructors and the highest safety standards. We have a number of horse and pony activities every day. We provide the horse and your riding helmet. All of the saddles are fitted with toe stoppers to prevent foot jams but a shoe with a small heel is recommended. Please dress for the weather, no shorts or open toed shoes and we do ride in the rain; the landscape, seascape, flora and wildlife are just as stunning.
Lead Rein – Pony Rides (from 4 years)
Led on a pony by one of our qualified instructors for 20mins approx. A gentle and safe introduction to horse riding for all ages. Suitable for older, less adventurous riders who prefer to take it easy with the comfort of an instructor by their side.
1hr Scenic Trek (from 8 years)
Our 1hr trek follows the shore of Loch Fyne with our qualified instructors. The loch is in view for most of the ride which is along an established woodland track and as such the ride is suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike. The views are stunning and often there are seals, deer and red squirrels to be seen on this trek.
2hr Scenic Trek (from 12 years)
Our 2hr trek takes you on an adventure for over 6 miles, the ride begins along the shores of Loch Fyne, giving you beautiful views of the Loch before climbing into the forest above Inveraray. Following ancient pathways, our instructors will lead you through the forest to the historic grounds of Inveraray Castle, The ride crosses over river Aray, taking you to the grand frontage of the Castle before returning to the forest roads and heading for home. Again, there is lots of wildlife and views appreciated best from the top of a horse. Suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
2hr Fast Ride (from 12 years)
Our 2hr fast ride is for accomplished riders who are comfortable at gallop over uneven ground. These rides are booked by calling the centre for availability. Following a similar route as the other rides with a qualified instructor.
Lessons (from 6 years)
Lessons are arranged to suit and are subject to availability. Our friendly instructors are BHS/TRSS qualified. We also have the only covered riding school in Argyll for rainy days.
Notes / Rules
- Riders weight limit is 14st / 196lbs / 88kg
- Treks leave sharp on the times shown. Please arrive no later than 15mins before.
- We will supply you with a British Standards riding helmet. You must wear this during the horse ride. If you have your own riding helmet, it must comply with PAS 015 (2011), SNELL E2016 or VG1 01.040(2014)
- No baggy clothing, high heels, open toe footwear, short trousers or skirts and please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear a sensible shoe or boot, trainers are acceptable as we have safety toe stoppers fitted to all our stirrups.
- We ride out in all weather except thunderstorms and ice, your booking stands unless we cancel.
- Both the 1 & 2 Hour scenic treks go out at the walk, always going at the pace of the least experienced rider. Fast rides are available for advanced riders only.
- Due to a limited number of horses on each ride, Advanced booking only.

Other Activities
Crossbow Range (Open April - October) **Hopefully returning summer 2023**
1 to 10 players. 1 hour game. Min Age 8yrs.
Line up in our themed target range and challenge your fellow shooters, learn how to be super accurate in no time with a little instruction from our expert zombie hunters. Enjoy several rounds of competition to find out who will become the top sharp shooter.
Indoor Laser Tag **Hopefully returning summer 2023**
4 TO 10 PLAYERS. 1 HOUR GAME. MIN AGE 8 YRS
Action packed session of laser tag within our purpose built laser building, Teams battle against each other in multiple game scenarios in a zombie infested arena. Great fun for all ages! Open all year - under cover.
Outdoor laser tag / With Hypershock "paintball without the bruises" **Hopefully returning summer 2023**
4 TO 10 PLAYERS. 1.5 HOUR GAME. MIN AGE 10 YRS
Set in 7 acres of woodland, our arena offers all the fun and competition of laser tag but now outdoors! Teams will battle for victory across multiple game zones using the woodland cover to their advantage. For extra electrifying fun, we have 'Hyper-shock' for over 14's. Safe electric shock system to bring a fun, pain element to the game.
